Lord Spanky: Synthesizers, Guitar
Lord Spanky is the craftsman behind the dark electronic sounds of Spanking Machine. By utilizing a mind-warping array of synthesizers, computers and electronic stimulation devices, he creates audio waves that transport the listener into a liquid world of deviant delights where pain, anger and sadness fade away. His inspiration comes partially from the creations of master musicians like Apoptygma Berzerk, VNV Nation, Kia Tracid, Tiesto, Front 242 as well as the early trance releases of Hooj Records. But he is heavily influenced by the lyrical and physical beauty of Mistress Victoria Kalimata. Lord Spanky's interest in electronic music and fetish both began in his early adolescent years as ways of escaping the loneliness of a conservative small town.
"To me, fetish is liberation. It's about feeling free to fully explore who you are both sexually and emotionally. With our music, our goal is not to simply provide "sexy" songs. We seek to create the tribal energy where people of all sexual preferences, colors, shapes and sizes can come together on the dance floor to cast off the confines of inhibition."
Lord Spanky is also an accomplished DJ with a unique skill for choosing songs that inspire carnal relations on the dance floor. He has left a trail of moist flesh at the Psychosexual Ball (Club Make-Up), The San Francisco Fetish Ball (Torture Garden), The You Do VooDoo Ball (DomDominion.com, Iniquity), Club Sin-A-Matic, the Los Angeles Fetish Ball and countless other events that we can not legally mention. While he honors the classics in this DJ set, his mind is always focused on emerging sounds.
